Becoming a Candidate--Presenting You to Client Companies

Once a potential opportunity has been identified, your Recruiter will contact you to discuss your qualifications and present information regarding the position and the organization. If it were decided that the opportunity is one you'd like to pursue, you would earn "Candidate" status, and be presented to the Client Company for consideration. At this time in the process, your Recruiter will also contact your references, and clarify any information from your resume or work history. This will typically lead to the initial interview by the client company.

In the event you are not selected to interview for a specific position, potential employers often keep you in mind for other opportunities- so don't lose heart. Often, reviewing a candidate's skills and experience focuses the hiring manager's attention on where the company might have shortfalls. You might be the solution to a problem not yet considered!
